The Middle East countries are becoming hub of international Universities and Colleges and have their campuses in these countries. Likewise Dubai has 11 International and Local Universities; offering best programs in MBA, Medical, Engineering, Arts & design, Films & Media and many other Programs. These degrees are well recognized around the world.
1. American University in Dubai (AUD)
The American University in Dubai established in 1995 it’s a branch campus of the American Inter-Continental University in Atlanta, but revolved into a private, non-sectarian institution in 2007. AUD is the only university outside of the US to be allowed the honor by SACS to give Bachelor and Master degrees. But that AUD is not federated with American University in Washington. AUD is teaching American style education system. Its multi-complex facility is located on approximately 1,300,000 sq ft and divided in 3 academic buildings, a Student Centre, an administration building, residence halls, a cafeteria, and an open air sports space.
2. Al Ghurair University (AGU)
Al Ghurair University has been established by Al Ghurair group in 1999 situated in Dubai Academic City. AGU is authorized by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Solely purpose of teaching local and students from other countries to get knowledge and develop compulsory skills to fit into the evolution and productivity of the region. AGU has recently added well equipped library & learning resources through electronic library – like ABI Inform, IEEE and ebrary.  Also AGU has supported to Blackboard, an advanced Learning Management System, helping the use of advanced computer technology in teaching and learning.
3. American College of Dubai (ACD)
American College of Dubai is near to Dubai International Airport, located opposite to Dubai Festival City. This university established in 1990. ACD offers its students an academic and social foundation to lead fulfilling lives as competent, committed and concerned members of a global nation. ACD provides BBA degree and ACCA degree. And also provide university transfer program to ease transfer abroad for degree finishing in other courses. ACD campus contains of Lecture Halls, Library Building with study areas, Computer Center and associated Resource Rooms, Clinic operated by a Resident Nurse, Outdoor Sports service such as a Football Field, Basketball and Volleyball Courts and Cafeteria.
